I’ve been involved in sports and physical activity for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always drawn to competition and movement, whether it was playing football with friends, participating in organized sports, or simply staying active. I was also a baseball player and went on to compete for two years with the club baseball team at Montclair State University. These experiences helped build a strong foundation in discipline, consistency, and a competitive mindset.
As I got older, my focus shifted toward performance and physical development, which led me to weight training. What started as a way to improve strength and athletic performance quickly grew into a deeper interest in how the body adapts to training. I became passionate about understanding how strength, speed, and power are developed through proper programming and technique.
That curiosity led me to pursue formal education in the field. I earned my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, followed by a graduate degree in Exercise Physiology. Through my studies in strength and conditioning, nutrition, and human performance, I developed a comprehensive understanding that training goes beyond lifting weights. It’s about optimizing movement, preventing injury, and helping individuals perform at their best.
My passion for fitness comes from the ability to make a meaningful impact. Whether helping someone get stronger, move better, return from injury, or build confidence, the process is incredibly rewarding. I combine hands-on training experience with continued education to ensure I’m always applying the most effective, up-to-date methods.
Today, I bring that same energy and commitment to every client I work with. My approach focuses on smart programming, proper technique, and delivering real, measurable results.
I look forward to helping you reach your goals at ŌVOX Gym.
