My Journey
Hi, I’m Marianna.
Health and caring or others lead me to earning my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I practiced for a few years before choosing to step away from the profession to raise my children. Health and the human body were always passions of mine—but like many women, life took me in a different direction for a while.
My path to becoming a fitness and nutrition coach wasn’t a straight line—it was personal.
From college through 2017, I was a total cardio queen. I lived for fitness classes—step, kickboxing, spin, you name it. But with years of yo-yo dieting and little focus on strength training or nutrition, I wasn’t seeing the results I expected. I was doing all the work without the payoff, and my body reflected that.
Then, in 2017, things shifted. I started experiencing strange sensations in my feet. After nearly a year of doctor visits and testing, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. In 2019, I had spinal fusion surgery. Four months later, I was cleared to work out again—but this time, I knew I needed to approach it differently.
I started slow. I enrolled in a personal training course—mostly to learn how to move safely post-surgery. But I quickly became fascinated by how the body responds to resistance training. That curiosity grew into passion.
During the pandemic, I found myself stuck again—working out, yet not seeing physical results. I dug deeper, got certified in nutrition, and learned how to fuel my body properly. Once I started counting macros, I lost 20 pounds and finally began to see the changes I’d been working toward all along.
With my kids older and more independent, I decided to take everything I’d learned and help others find their own path to strength, confidence, and better health—without the guesswork.
Although I was a couch potato as a kid, I’m the complete opposite now. I stay active with weightlifting, biking, hiking, and my latest favorite—ballroom dancing with my husband.
And in June 2025, I stepped on stage for my first bodybuilding show—proving to myself (and maybe to a few others) that it’s never too late to completely transform.
Now, I’m here to help you transform. Whether you’re looking to lose fat, gain muscle, feel better in your clothes, or finally break out of the cardio-and-diet cycle—I’ve been there. And I’d love to help guide you through it.
