Hi, my name is Dana! I’m a trainer, and I’ve been training at ŌVOX for the past 5 years.

My fitness journey started in high school as a Track & Field thrower. I began working out to build strength and improve my performance, and ever since then, the gym has become a major part of my life. Like a lot of people, I was one of those who thought I knew a lot about fitness when I first started.

After spending years stuck at the same weight, I finally cracked the code on sustainable weight loss and realized just how important building muscle really is. I learned that strength training isn’t about “getting too bulky”—it’s about creating a stronger, healthier version of yourself. Along the way, I spent time learning about nutrition, understanding the calories my body needed, and improving my form and technique with every exercise.

Once I overcame my own mental blocks around self-image and learned to embrace getting stronger, I found myself diving into the world of powerlifting.

Beyond the physical changes, the gym has taught me so much about discipline, resilience, and mental growth. It has shown me that it’s possible to push past barriers, overcome setbacks, and keep moving forward even during life’s toughest moments.

If you’re struggling with weight loss, looking to get leaner, build muscle, gain strength, or simply create more consistency in your fitness journey, I’d love to help guide you every step of the way.

I knew the OVOX trainers were a cut above when I found out OVOX doesn’t even offer packages of sessions to buy.  They earn my business every session with ZERO pressure!

Gary-Holmdel, NJ

Stu trained me for competitive bodybuilding in the 90’s.  When I heard Stu trained all the OVOX trainers, I knew it would be worth the drive.
